Pump Library FAQ

Getting Your Hire Pump

How do I get my hire pump?

Once you place your order, we’ll take about 3 working days to prepare your pump before shipping it out to you! After that, you can expect it to arrive within 1-2 working days with Royal Mail 24 tracked or within 2-3 working days using Royal Mail 48 tracked services. Just a heads up—these aren’t guaranteed, so if you need your pump in a hurry, give us a shout for a custom shipping quote!

Where do you ship?

Right now, we’re only shipping around Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we can’t hire pumps outside of NI just yet.

What should I do when my pump arrives?

When your pump arrives, open the box carefully—you’ll need it for the return! Check to make sure everything’s there, and if something seems off, just let us know!

What if I choose to collect my pump?

If you’re picking up your pump at the Pump Library HQ, we’ll reach out within 24 hours of your order to arrange a good time for you to collect it. And don’t forget to return it by the morning after your hire ends!

Using the Pump

Is there a guide included with the pump?

Absolutely! Each hire comes with our handy Pump Library Guide to help you get started and support you along the way. We’ve got your back, leaving no room for guesswork!

What additional equipment is provided?

Along with your pump, you’ll get cleaning and sterilising gear, sizing inserts, and other goodies like bottles, storage bags, and instruction manuals. We expect everything to come back in good shape at the end of your hire. And the best part? There’s no extra charge for these accessories! We want you to feel like you’re getting the full new pump experience, so please take care of our gear!

Returning the Pump

How do I return the pump after my hire period?

Easy peasy! We’ll send you a return label via email that you can print out and stick on the box. Just pop it in the post the next working day after your hire ends to avoid any extra charges.

Deposits and Extensions

What happens to my deposit?

Your deposit is there to cover any damage or mishaps with the pump and gear during your hire. We know things can wear out, so if your pump starts acting up, just stop using it and let us know right away. We’ll inspect it, and if it’s just normal wear and tear, you’re off the hook! But if you don’t let us know about any issues, you might be liable for a loss of your deposit.

What if I want to extend my hire period?

No problem! If you want to extend your hire, just grab the extension on our website before your current hire ends. This way, you won’t have to worry about any deductions from your deposit.
